Privacy and cookies

The Plovdiv Run team is responsible for the information you provide through plovdiv.run. Contact contact@plovdiv.run with questions about your data.
Email updates
When you subscribe, we store your email address, language and consent record. We use them for event news, registration announcements and entry reminders. Resend delivers these messages. You can unsubscribe using the link in every email. We keep the unsubscribe status so we do not send you further updates.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads on public pages with analytics cookies disabled by default. Without cookie permission, it sends limited signals about page views, traffic sources and actions such as selecting a race, subscribing to updates and playing Hill Dash. Connecting to Google includes technical data such as your IP address and browser information. Cookieless does not mean no data is transmitted. With cookie permission, we also receive reports about sessions, returning visitors and engagement. This helps us improve the website and understand interest in the event. We do not send names, email addresses, payment details, account information or private access links. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled.
Your choice
“Allow cookies” enables analytics cookies. “Without cookies” keeps only limited cookieless measurement through Google Consent Mode. To stop that too, open Cookie settings and choose Stop all analytics. The website remains accessible with every choice. Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 6 months. When you withdraw permission, we remove analytics cookies and reload the page. A previous refusal of all analytics remains in effect until you change your choice.
Cookies and local storage
With permission, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies for up to 12 months. Individual event data in Analytics is retained for up to 14 months. Necessary cookies support account sign-in through Clerk. Hill Dash saves records and sound preferences on your device. These settings are separate from analytics consent.
Providers and website operation
Vercel, Railway and Neon provide website hosting, servers and database storage. Technical records, such as IP addresses and request errors, may be processed for security and troubleshooting. Google and other providers may process data outside Bulgaria and the European Economic Area under their contracts and data protection mechanisms.
Access, correction and deletion
Contact contact@plovdiv.run to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent. You can lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection. Instagram and Facebook links open external sites with their own privacy policies; we do not load their tracking pixels here.
